ALERT® INPATIENT went live at Head and Neck Services of INCA in Brazil

ALERT® INPATIENT went live, on April 30, 2014, at the Head and Neck Services of Cancer Hospital I (Hospital do Câncer I – HC I).


HC I is the National Cancer Institute's (Instituto Nacional do Câncer – INCA) largest healthcare facility and one of the most well equipped hospitals of the Brazilian Ministry of Health. This 244-bed hospital provides diagnosis confirmation, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to cancer patients.


In addition to being the head office of INCA's Board of Directors and the Bone Marrow Transplant Center, HC I also plays an important role in cancer research, as well as in organizing medical and nursing residency programs and specialization courses.


With over 70 years of activity, INCA is a Brazilian Health Ministry's body which develops and coordinates preventive and control actions on cancer. This institution's mission is to also provide care to patients suffering from the disease. For this purpose, the organization has various hospitals in Rio de Janeiro.
