The ALERT Group of Companies increased last year's turnover by over 53%, growing from 23.0 million Euros in 2007 to 36.4 million Euros in 2008.

61% of revenues resulted from operations outside Portugal – surpassing the 50% goal that had been set for international revenues in 2008.

ALERT® products are being implemented in healthcare facilities in the US, Brazil, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Britain, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

ALERT is focused on becoming the most international clinical software company. To that end, the new ALERT® version, ALERT® 2.5., to be launched in May, will increase its ability to initiate operations in new markets.

Additionally, with the recent launch of MyALERT® Personal Health Record, ALERT® is materializing its strategic shift from patient-centered to citizen-centered software.

In fact, ALERT now has two different product lineages: one PROFESSIONAL and the other CITIZEN-oriented.

With the professional product lineage, ALERT is now capable of deploying regional or national projects in healthcare IT from local servers or on an ASP model.
