The Portuguese company’s software for hospital management is implemented in 40 state and private institutions in Brazil.
ALERT (a Portuguese company that develops hospital management software) will close this year's operations in Brazil with 58 million US Dollars worth of contracts. It is an impressive result – especially because it equals the value of contracts in the other 11 countries where the company is present. “The next step is to consolidate our presence in Brazil,” said César Guimarães, the company's CEO. ALERT has only been in Brazil for 3 years and it has already installed its software in 40 facilities, some of which are well known in the country, such as Beneficência Portuguesa, Albert Einstein Hospital, both in São Paulo, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), the National Cancer Institute (Inca), in Rio de Janeiro, and Unimed in Belo Horizonte.
